The Assistant Manager will support the Manager in all aspects of store operations, and will provide guidance in team operations including profitability, expense control, inventory control, buying, merchandising, labor and regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will have previous store operations experience (Inventory, Cost Control, Pricing, Merchandising, Labor Management, Employee relations).
This is a customer-service focused role. Mixes, and in a responsible manner, serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Serve bar guests in a courteous and timely manner. Steps in to assist staff when and where necessary.
Counter Sales Team Members provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with purchases and efficient processing of orders. Answers questions, provides information as needed, and performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Food prep staff will prepare ingredients for recipes and perform other routine food preparation duties to assist cooks, other kitchen and catering staff. Staff will assist in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Dishwasher/Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen and Market + Eatery spaces, as well as performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
The Intern will work closely with the Events & Catering Manager to learn the intricacies of catering from both a sales and operations standpoint, and will learn event planning, organization and oversight of all on-sight event logistics. The Intern will have the opportunity to work directly with event and/or catering customers to coordinate the details of their events including, but not limited to, menu selections, tastings, linen rental, set-up, and floral design. The intern will learn how to properly set-up and execute event and/or catering following the specific timeline and guidelines for each event. Excellent customer service, for clients and guests, attention to detail, and the ability to be organized and multi-task, is an expectation.
The Intern will be expected to attend internal and customer meetings. Meetings may include customer site visits, pre-planning meetings, internal staff meetings, event ordering meetings, and staff meetings.
